9:00 AM - 7:00 PM Florida SARC, in conjunction with Animal Services at PAWS is sponsoring a one-day training Awareness Level -Small Animal Emergency Sheltering Course in Fort Walton on November 5. The training is for any and all persons who want to be involved in assisting animals impacted by disasters in the state. FL SARC is the lead group for companion animal response for State ESF-17 Animal Issues during a declared state disaster. The Awareness Training is for anyone who wants to be involved in an emergency response in FL to help animals - no matter what training they have had in the  past.
