8:00AM - 5:00PM For nearly 30 years, specialists at the University of Florida, Department of Animal Sciences have offered industry-specific food safety training courses to participants from Florida, the U.S. and internationally. As regulations against food borne illness get tougher, the food industry must incorporate control measures into their processes and train their workers in hygiene and food safety practices. Both the Basic and Advanced HACCP training courses are taught by certified instructors with extensive experience. They provide course information in short, concise lectures, reviewing HACCP and its supporting programs. Both training courses are fully recognized and accredited by the International HACCP Alliance. The two-day course is designed for people in the food industry desiring to understand and be trained in the HACCP system for manufacturing safe food.
