This course is
required to respond with Florida State Animal Response Coalition to
work in an emergency animal shelter during declared disasters in the
state of Florida. Please check our Training page for further
requirements!Please Note: Class cost is $50.Florida SARC team members must complete the following FEMA courses.
These courses are self-study online courses and are free of charge:
IS-100.b Introduction to Incident Command System IS-200.b ICS for Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents IS-700.a NIMS an Introduction IS-10.a Animal in Disasters, Awareness and Preparedness IS-11.a Animal in Disasters, Community Planning All volunteers must also have a current Tetanus Vaccination within the
past 10 years, within 5 years is preferable. It is also recommended
that you receive vaccinations for Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B and Rabies. |
